She was the oldest of four children born to the late Charles and Ethel Maloney and was raised in Wolcott, CT. Joan started her working career as a young girl at Southern New England Telephone Company (AT&T). She later became supervisor of the Torrington branch office. Barbara A. Holmes, 79, of Riverton, CT, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Geer Nursing Facility. She was the wife of the late Peter U. Holmes, Sr. Barbara was born June 29, 1943, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of Roland and Mary Graziani.

She was the beloved wife of Anthony “Tony” Renzullo for 50 years. Carol was born February 22, 1947, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mae McKenna. She, along with her husband Tony, owned Carbone’s Market for 45 years.

She was born in 1929, the daughter of the late Aurelia Killiany. She was an avid card player, enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, playing Rummi-cube, and loved to travel.
